“We carry within us the wonders we seek outside us.

When will you begin that long journey into yourself?” ~Rumi

Mindfulness and Sound Meditation

Join us on September 5th and 19th

For those local to the Nassau County area, these in-person gatherings are designed to foster community and provide mutual support, offering a dedicated time and space for stillness, reflection and connection.

This season we will draw inspiration from the animal world as we focus on life lessons we can apply for ourselves from such creatures as otters, elephants, dogs, bees and turtles.

We will engage in guided meditation, silent reflection, and sound bath meditation enhanced by crystal bowls, ocean drums, Koshi chimes and other calming instruments.

NEW! Natural Mindfulness Philospher’s Walk

The Philosopher’s Walk is a gentle invitation to walk, wonder, and rediscover the art of reflection in good company, with nature as our guide. Join us at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum on Saturday, Sept. 13th for this beautiful outing to connect with nature and foster meaningful self-discovery.

This walk is done in five stages. At the start of each stage you will receive a question to ponder as you independently wander the grounds of the arboretum. You are invited to stay with this question, write what arises, and, if you like, share your responses with others in the group when we reconvene together. During each stage you will also be introduced to the works of nature philosophers such as Henry David Thoreau, Mary Oliver and John Muir.
